About the event

The Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle (CYC) is excited to host the 2024 J/24 World Championships on Puget Sound. 

The venue is truly world class, a deep saltwater tidal body with wind conditions that can vary from light to very heavy.

 The Olympic Mountains frame the racecourse to the west and Shilshole Bay Marina and regatta headquarters to the east. 

CYC is the northwest’s premier sailboat racing club, and with more than 700 members, has mounted many large regattas over its 77-year history. CYC runs over 1,000 separate racing starts annually, more than any other yacht club in America. 

Our members look forward to sharing our excellent racing conditions and race management capabilities with the world’s top J/24 sailors.
